Frequently asked questions:  

1. I don't remember my username or my password. What should I do?

If you registered with a legitimate email address your username and password can be sent to you. Just click on the "Lost password" link at the top of this page and enter the email address you registered. As long as that email address matches the one you registered with, you'l receive an email with your username/password within a few minutes.


2. I joined but never received an activation code.

There are a number of reasons you might not have received your activation code:

1. Your mailbox is full.

2. You entered an incorrect email. 

3. Your spam filter is blocking our email.


If you're certain none of these apply in your case, please log in with your username/password.  You will see 'resend activation Code.' Please click on it and wait 10 minutes.  If you still have not recieved your email at that time please call our Technical Support line at 1-800-XXX-XXXX between 7 AM - 6 PM PST M-F.


3. I submitted the activation code you sent me in the mail and it says it's wrong or invalid.

Each activation code is unique. If you have had the system resend your activation code, you may be entering an old code.  Please make sure you entering the most recent code you received.  If you are still having a problem please call our Technical Support line at 1-800-XXX-XXXX between 7 AM - 6 PM PST M-F.


4. How do I upload pictures to my portfolio?

After you have logged in, click the "Edit My Pics" link from the navigation menu. You will see a form that looks like the form below:


Click on the "Browse" button to find the picture you want to upload, select the picture then click "Upload". Assuming the file is in the correct format it will be uploaded to your account. To upload more another picture simply repeat the steps.


5. How do I add information to my portfolio about my skills, work interests, professional status, experience level, travel terms, union affiliations etc.

After you have logged into the site, click the "Extended Resume" link from the navigation meny and fill out the form to submit your information. Upon submission your information will become immediately accessible to anyone viewing your portfolio.


6. How do I add information to my portfolio about my physical stats such as hair, eyes, ethnicity, height, weight etc.?

After you have logged into the site, click the "Physical Statistics" link from the navigation menu and fill out the form to submit your information. Upon submission your information will become immediately accessible to anyone viewing your portfolio. 


7. How do I add information to my portfolio about past work I've done?

After you have logged into the site, click the "Edit Work History" link from the navigation menu and fill out the form to submit your information. Upon submission your information will become immediately accessible to anyone viewing your portfolio.


8. How can I add some information about myself in my own words to my portfolio?

After you have logged into the site, click the "Add/Edit About Me" link from the navigation menu and fill out the form to submit your information. Upon submission your information will become immediately accessible to anyone viewing your portfolio. 


9. How do I update my address information?

After you have logged in, click the "My Account" link from the navigation menu and fill out the form to update your information. Then Click 'Update' at the very bottom of the page.


10. How do I change my email address?

After you have logged into the site, click the "Account Manager" link from the navigation menu. Then click 'Change email address' and fill out the form to change your information. To finish the change, click 'Submit.' 


11. How do I change my username and/or password?

After you have logged into the site, click the "Account Manager" link from the navigation menu. Then click 'Change user/pass' and fill out the form to change your information. To finish the change, click 'Change Info.'


12. I don't want to receive any newsletters or email news/announcements that are sent out by this website.

After you have logged in, click the "Preferences" link from the navigation menu. Uncheck the box next to "Yes, send me news by email". This should prevent you from receiving newsletters and news/announcement emails from the site. If you continue to receive such emails even though you have unchecked the box in preferences, contact the administrator to report the problem.
